The cooperative from Hamburg has set itself the task of finding a natural climate solution. The Generation Forest buys up deforested areas in Panama and plants them with tropical mixed forest according to the forestry concept of generation forests. Sustainable management of these agricultural areas and controlled thinning with profitable sales ensure a natural return for members.

The initial situation

All relevant data and information was managed in Excel spreadsheets before the project started. This led to a high level of manual effort, latent susceptibility to errors and poor data quality. The planning and implementation of targeted campaigns and personal contact and interaction with members were not possible on this basis.

Solution and implementation with Sugar Sell

The implementation of Sugar Sell and the customer-specific adaptations mean enormous time savings for the cooperative: error-prone Excel lists are replaced by automated processes so that data can be processed and evaluated without detours. The interfaces implemented by atlantis dx ensure smooth workflows - Sugar Sell is optimally geared towards member management and closely linked to the website. To enable the team to work efficiently with the tools, atlantis dx introduced the company to the use of the software solution in customized workshops.

Technical highlights

  • Automated interface to "payactive" to transmit payments (transfers, installment payments and credit notes (members recruit members)) directly and trigger them.
  • An interface to "eID" ensures that after registering as a new member on the website, there is a direct connection for proof of identity and transfer to Sugar Sell.
  • Developed interface to Mailchimp: Bidirectional exchange of contact lists for campaign management in Mailchimp.
  • Integration of a message module for manual or automated sending and receiving of messages from Sugar Sell to the member's Impact account on the website.
